Tinubu Flags Off 35Km Access Roads To Second Niger Bridge
– As Umahi Urged South East governors to Support President Tinubu.
– President Tinubu’s SSA on Community Engagement, South East, Barr. Chioma Nweze said the people of South East are witnessing significant transformations in the region under Tinubu.
The president and commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Ogbunike, Oyi Local Government Area, Anambra state flagged off the construction of 17.5km X 2 dual carriageway linking the newly constructed second Niger bridge to the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway Phase 2B with contract no 8793.
President Tinubu who was represented at the occasion by the Governor of Anambra state, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo called on the local communities to support the company handling for the smooth delivery of the project.
He pointed out that the federal government had approved and released the first 30% to CGC Nigeria Ltd, the firm managing the project, and that the project would begin immediately.
Sen. Engr David Umahi, the Minister of Works while detailing the specifics of the project commended the governor of Anambra state for his numerous infrastructural projects.
Minister Umahi pointed out that the project will have other things like solar-powered streetlights, CCTV cameras and built with concrete.

“As part of my efforts to further develop the region, I recently launched the Skill Up South-East project, which includes a comprehensive fashion training program that provides young people with the skills and resources needed to succeed in the fashion industry.
In addition, the Health Support Initiative Program was flagged off in collaboration with the David Umahi University Of Health Science Uburu. This program includes free cancer screening, free dialysis for one year, and free eye testing and glasses. This initiative is expected to greatly improve healthcare outcomes in our region.
