Skill Up South East Officially Commenced In Earnest
The inaugural phase of the Skill Up South-East initiative has officially commenced. It features a cohort of 35 selected participants drawn from each of the 35 local government areas within the South-East region in Nigeria.

The empowerment/training program begins with tailoring/fashion designing, with other skills to be added soon.

The frontrunner of the program, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Community Engagement, South-East, Barr. Mrs. Chioma Nweze said the training program is anchored under the visionary framework of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the president.
She said the training programs aim not only to equip individuals with transformative, industry-relevant skills but also to ensure their seamless integration into the economic landscape through structured post-training empowerment and sustainable business support systems.
