Barr. Chioma Nweze Invites South East Youths to Renewed Hope National Youth Tour

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (South East), Chioma Nweze, has invited youths and stakeholders across the South East region to participate in the Renewed Hope National Youth Tour – South East Edition, scheduled to hold from Friday, March 13 to Saturday, March 14, 2026.

The two-day national engagement is being organized under the visionary leadership and grand patronage of Seyi Tinubu, and is designed to serve as a strategic platform to showcase the reforms, development initiatives, and achievements of the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to Barr. Nweze, the programme will bring together thousands of young Nigerians from across the South East geopolitical zone to engage with government policies, explore empowerment opportunities, and deepen youth participation in national development.

She explained that the Renewed Hope National Youth Tour is structured to create a high-impact engagement between government and young people by highlighting policies and interventions that directly affect the youth while also strengthening trust and visibility between both parties.

“The Renewed Hope National Youth Tour is a deliberate and action-driven initiative aimed at showcasing government-led reforms, strengthening engagement with young people, and empowering youths across the South East with practical opportunities,” she said.

Barr. Nweze disclosed that the programme targets the empowerment of over 20,000 youths in the South East, through structured interventions designed to support entrepreneurship, digital access, agriculture, and small-scale businesses.

As part of the empowerment programme, beneficiaries will receive support packages including market women grants, small business grants, agricultural inputs for farmers, laptops for tech enablement, smartphones for digital access, sewing machines for fashion designers, make-up kits, grinding machines, wheelchairs, hairdressing kits, barbing kits, generators, and deep freezers.

She emphasized that the empowerment initiatives are designed to deliver practical and immediate impact at the grassroots level while ensuring that the Renewed Hope Agenda translates into real opportunities for young Nigerians.

Barr. Nweze also noted that the engagement will provide a unified platform for stakeholders across the South East to discuss development, opportunities, and the role of young people in driving national progress.

She therefore urged youths, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders across the region to take advantage of the programme to connect with government initiatives and benefit from the empowerment opportunities.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda is about creating opportunities and ensuring inclusive growth. This engagement is a step toward ensuring that young people in the South East are fully integrated into the nation’s development journey,” she added.
